Deixalles Foundation
The main objectives of the Deixalles Foundation are: the inclusion in the job markets of people who have had diverse social problems. They also motivate a fair economy, the administration of residues, and the awareness of environment. They have various projects in need of volunteering: a) 2nd-hand furniture repairing and painting, b) 2nd-hand clothes ironing and folding, c) Painting and maintenance of facilities.
Community Volunteering
Volunteering in the festival has two aspects to it.
We will dedicate a whole day to discovering Ibiza and its people by offering the participants the opportunity to ‘Shine their Light’ by being supportive of a Ibiza community initiative. There are 3 possibilities available. Please choose only one and let us know via email.
This is an optional activity.
Ibiza 4 Patas
Ibiza 4 Patas is a not-for-profit association born in 2008 as a dog shelter. Their main goal is animal (dogs) protection and making the community aware of animal rights by focusing on avoiding battering and abandonment or lack of protection. They treat animals with respect and ethics, and work towards proposing adoption of abandoned animals. They need volunteers to build dog houses, walk the dogs, bathe them and give them so human love.
Everyday participation volunteering
The safe keeping and organization of our Festival is done by ‘us’ the participants, teachers and technicians. We will ask a bit of collaboration and volunteering from everyone to keep the different spaces clean and organized. We will ask for general helping out wherever needed. The Ibiza Enlight Festival is a collaboration site, so we will approach you to discover how you want to help in General.
